Who we are
This website is operated by VIP Assistance, 111 Knyaz Boris I St., fl. 2, apt. 6, 1000 Sofia, Bulgaria (contact@vip-assistance.com, +359 888 55 88 00). We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice.
What we collect
Enquiries: when you use the enquiry form we receive the details you enter — your name, organisation, email address, phone number, preferred contact method and the information about your visit — together with the language and page the enquiry was sent from.
Security data: the IP address and browser identifier of each enquiry, kept to protect the form against abuse.
Usage statistics: we count page views and actions such as opening the enquiry form, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. A visitor is recognised for one day only, through a one-way code derived from the IP address and browser that cannot be reversed and is discarded daily. We do not use advertising or social-media trackers.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to protect the website and the form against abuse, and to understand how the website is used in aggregate (our legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who receives it
Your enquiry is read only by the VIP Assistance team. Our hosting and email providers process it on our behalf under data-processing terms. When you engage us, details strictly necessary for your arrangements (for example a passenger name for a hotel or an airport service) are shared with the providers concerned, at your request.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they lead to an engagement, in which case the records required by law are kept for the statutory period. IP addresses and browser identifiers are deleted after 90 days. Usage statistics are kept only in aggregate.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, the restriction of its use or a copy in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Write to contact@vip-assistance.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg).
